ITINERARY

WE ARE EXCITED TO HAVE YOU JOIN A WEEKEND OF FUN AND RELAXATION IN THE WHITE ISLE TO CELEBRATE JASON'S 50TH BIRTHDAY!

IF POSSIBLE, WE WOULD REQUEST THAT YOU ARRIVE BY THE EVENING OF THURSDAY, AUGUST 6TH, SO YOU CAN PARTAKE IN ALL PLANNED ACTIVITIES.

BELOW IS A SUMMARY ITINERARY TO HELP YOU MAKE TRAVEL PLANS, WITH MORE DETAILS TO FOLLOW AS THE DATE NEARS.

IMPORTANTLY, IF YOU CAN PLEASE FILL OUT THE EVENT SIGN UP FORM AFTER REVIEWING THE BELOW, IT WILL HELP US ENSURE YOU ARE INFORMED AND INCLUDED FOR ALL ASPECTS OF THE WEEKEND.

THURSDSAY, AUGUST 6TH

Welcome to Ibiza - Optional IBIZA 101 Course: 10:00 PM - Late

For early arrivals with a lot of energy, some of our Ibiza friends will be organizing a few smaller events as an apéritif for the coming weekend. They have graciously agreed to take anyone who hasn’t experienced the Ibiza nightlife out to some of our favorite clubs, and Thursdays tend to have great DJs of all genres at the main clubs downtown.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 7TH

Formentera & Es Vedrà – A Day on the Water: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM

While many think of Ibiza as a “club destination” or a set of fancy private villas and resorts on the beach, it is much more, and we start our formal itinerary with one of our favorite days in the Ibiza surrounding waters … this day will be very casual, a chance to absorb the sun and energy of the island.

As many people have asked, some photos of “dress code” from this sort of day in prior years is HERE (hint: there is no real dress code).

We will spend the afternoon on the water, with a boat departure at 12:00 PM (SHARP) for lunch at Jason’s favorite beachfront restaurant on the idyllic isle of Formentera, followed by an afternoon of ocean & beach activities near the famous Es Vedrà.

We will return for sunset drinks, and then invite you to have dinner at your leisure. If needed, you can ask for dinner booking assistance from Aurika. While we won’t insist on the after dinner parties being a part of the formal itinerary, be aware that many in the group will be meeting up for a night out in Ibiza town, we will ask that you RSVP for that as the date nears as we will be attending clubs with ticket requirements.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 8TH

JMW50 Celebration: 5:00 PM - Sunrise

Please sleep in on Saturday and enjoy a leisurely afternoon before the “big event”. We've gathered favorite lunch and activity recommendations on the Activities page for those of you who are not experiencing any jet lag (or party lag).

Depending on your accommodations, you should plan on being ready to depart in one of our party shuttles promptly at 5 PM. Jason, as you know, is prone to be the first person at any given party, so perhaps you should think about being ready by 4:45 PM. Some of you will receive a separate email asking you to be ready by 4:00 PM, because we know you haven’t bothered to look at the website and are always late.

The shuttle will whisk you away for drinks, dinner, dancing and few special surprises at our secret location on the island.

Without revealing too much, plan on sunset drinks and a special, dare we say spiritual, performance to set the stage for our evening from 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM, a seated twilight dinner at 9:00 PM, dancing and a guest performance from 10:30 PM - 12:30 AM, followed by the weekend's headline act from a very special Ibiza DJ from 1:00 AM…

Saturday evening transportation back to your accommodations will be fully arranged:

• Shuttles will be available from Midnight

• Ambulances will be called at 3:00 AM

• Wheelbarrows on hand from 5:00 AM

• Hearses are planned in advance for Sunrise

SUNDAY, AUGUST 9TH

It's not quite over – A Day of Farewell: 3:00 PM - Midnight

After what is (likely) a (very) short night’s sleep, we will invite all of our guests to a casual farewell afternoon and evening on Sunday. We understand some of you may need to depart before this, just let us know, but we hope you can stay for this final event.

We will meet at a fabulous beach restaurant which is reserved solely for our group from 3:00 PM to Midnight (an Ibiza style lunch hour) and hope you can all join us for this capstone to the weekend!
